Welcome to
Manners for Mutts
Surviving Your Dog's Adolescence Program

Supporting pet parents with resources and top-quality training to help you transform your crazy adolescent dog into the well-mannered and fun dog you've always dreamed of!

Dear Dog Parent,
Your dog is not a puppy anymore! Adolescence is a time when young dogs will try out new behaviors. Bold moves, such as jumping on counters and furniture, running out the front door and down the street, and challenging other dogs are all examples. Are you missing out on the true joy of sharing your life with a dog because of your dog's new naughty behaviors? So many pet parents are frustrated by their dog's behavior - unnecessarily.

Do any of these apply to you?

  •  Does your dog ignore you?
  •  Does your dog look at you and run the other way when you call?
  •  Does you dog drag you around the neighborhood on walks?
  •  Is your dog mouthy or jumpy?
  •  Does your dog go crazy every time someone comes to the door?
  • Is your dog suddenly barking at other dogs or people on walks?

This Program Solves All These Problems and More . . .

  •  Imagine having a dog that listens and responds to cues enthusiastically!
  •  Imagine having a dog that comes when you call, every time?
  •  Imagine having a dog that walks calmly with you even on a busy street, even with other dogs around!
  •  Imagine having a dog that is calm and sits politely for attention!
  •  Imagine having a dog that can remain calm when visitors come to you home!

Here's What Other Pet Parents Have to Say

"Maggie and I could not have survived our first few months without Staci. Maggie was a 5-month-old, 40lbs (now 70lbs) pitbull mix from a shelter. Maggie was horrible with other dogs, but Staci was very patient with us and did a great job managing Maggie during group classes. And Maggie clearly loved Staci. With Staci’s guidance and a lot of daily hard work by Maggie, she is now an easy-going, responsive dog who gets complimented regularly on her manners."

J. Allard

"We have enjoyed working with Staci ever since our puppy was 11 weeks old. As a new dog and puppy owner, I felt overwhelmed and inadequate on what to do. So glad we found Staci. She was flexible with our schedule, would get back to me back right away, patient and really helped me and my kids train and enjoy the new addition to the family. We have done private lessons, puppy class and now in the next class with Staci, and so glad we invested in all of them. Our puppy learned the basic commands early on, loves going to class, and really is the dog we always wanted. Thank you, Staci!"

J. Lee

"Staci took a family of four frazzled, tired, outwitted people and helped us become the masters of our house again! We've never had a puppy before, and it's a lot of work, but Staci helped us understand the need for consistency, lots of praise, and training early. She also taught us how important it is for Luna to have boundaries, so she understands that we are in charge. Basically, Staci is an excellent people trainer and the puppy was just a means to an end!"
